How to Find Us

Unfortunately, we are not lucky enough to have our own car park. We do have several short-stay spaces around the front, sides and back of the theatre. These are one hour only spaces, but not monitored after 5pm. If you are attending an evening performance, you can use these spaces, however, please do turn up early if you want to use these spaces as they go very quickly.

Please do not park in the loading bay directly out the front of the theatre.

Water Street, Hyde

Croft Street, Hyde

ASDA Hyde has its own car park for it's customers. This is restricted to a maximum stay of three hours, monitored by ANPR cameras. If you park here, you can use the Horizon-Parking company to pay for parking on ASDA - However, keep your receipt as you may still get a fine and when you evidence you have paid through Horizon - they will cancel your fine.

Hyde Festival Theatre takes no responsibility of where you park your vehicle at any time - please follow the correct signage and conditions in your parking location.

Hyde's bus station is around a five minute walk away at the bottom of Market Street. The Town Hall is only a one minute walk away from the theatre. If you are looking at the front of the town hall directly, we are just behind the building on the left side.

Walk down Corporation Street, past the Town Hall, The Old Post Office and you will see us.

If you arrive at Hyde Bus Station, come out the station, turn left and walk up Market Street until you reach the Town Hall stop, then follow the above instructions. This will add an additional 5 minute walk to your journey.

Arrive at Hyde Central. Come out the front of the station, walk up Great Norbury Street. Corporation Street is the third left, walk down here and we are on the right. It is about a 5-7 minute walk.

You can use alternative train stations at Flowery Field, Godley or Newton. But this will be a 20-30 minute walk away.
